Week 7 wasn’t the most exciting week ever with 7 games being decided by at least 11 points, but that means big fantasy games, whether that be in garbage time or from complete domination. This week’s standout performance came from Ja’Marr Chase who had 201 receiving yards and 1 touchdown, propelling the Bengals past the Ravens 41-17. Now for this week’s top pickups.
QB Daniel Jones Giants (28% Rostered Yahoo) @ Chiefs
As of late Daniel Jones hasn’t done much fantasy wise but in a game against a horrendous Chiefs defense Jones should go off with multiple touchdowns. The Chiefs have allowed at least 27 points in all but 1 of their games this season allowing 29 points a game, 275.7 passing yards a game and 128.9 rushing yards a game. Finally the Giants should be getting Kenny Golladay and or Sterling Shephard back to bolster their WR room making Jones a decent QB1 this week.
WR A.J. Green Cardinals (59% Rostered) vs Packers
A.J. Green has recorded 3 touchdowns this season and has 406 receiving yards averaging 5 targets a game being one of MVP candidate Kyler Murray’s favorite targets. A.J has a good chance at scoring a touchdown each week being a good red zone threat with 8 red zone targets this season and being on the team with the second most touchdowns 27. A.J and the Cardinals face a sneaky good Green Bay defense that shut down Washington last week only allowing 10 points, but Green is still a WR2 and a high end Flex.
RB Mark Ingram II Texans (35% Rostered) vs Rams
Ingram and the Texans in general have been unreliable fantasy wise since week 3 with the absence of Tyrod Taylor. Taylor is supposedly going to be back in time for the Texans week 9 matchup against the Dolphins which means you should pick up Ingram before the Texans offense gets back on track. Ingram and the rest of the run game has been at a stand still with the mediocre and one dimensional QB play from rookie backup Davis Mills. Tyrod Taylor should open up the run game for Ingram and the rest of the team giving Ingram great fantasy and RB2 upside. You should pick Ingram up now before he possibly blows up with Taylor back in the next couple of weeks.
