Most people know that when the fall season comes around, so do the horror movies. If you’re like me you probably dread the shivers that horror movies give you, so I thought I’d help out those horror movie haters and make the fall season better by giving you my top 5 fall Hallmark movies this year. Time to get cozy on the couch with your favorite blanket and a pumpkin spice latte and get watching!
- Fourth Down and Love
‘Fourth Down and and Love’ is about a single mother and a professional football player who were highschool sweethearts. They meet again at her daughter’s flag football field after his career is interrupted by an injury.
- 1 Bed, 2, Bath, 3 Ghost
The house that Anna, a new real estate agent, has listed has a spirit from the 1920s that won’t go. Even worse, the ghost is afraid she won’t be able to “pass over” unless she reconciles Anna with her ex.
- Love in the Great Smoky Mountains
Former sweethearts reunite at an archeological dig in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. As they work together competing for the same research grant, they discover they might still have feelings for one another.
- Notes of Autumn
Ellie and Leo are two longtime bffs who live in different cities. Both feeling “stuck,” they decide to switch places and live each other’s lives for fun. Doing so has them both finding unexpected love!
- Retreat to You
High school drama should remain in the past. Though, Abby and Sean are really good at holding grudges. So when the two once-best friends find themselves at a retreat hosted by one of their mutual friends, their feud is reignited. Can that passion somehow turn to romance? We’ll see!
All these movies are new this year and each of them premiered sometime in September. Their ratings all average around 7/10 stars and for all being brand new movies and not having many views yet, that is pretty good.
Each one of these movies tells a heartwarming love story and all of them are perfect for people like me who don’t like spooky horror movies in the fall. If none of these movies stick out to you, there are plenty more fall Hallmark movies out there that you can choose from!
