Introduction
She just wants the best for her students. That’s what all deans want, but is that what she truly desires? Today, we will discussing our new head dean of Rosemount High, Mrs. Maribel Arellano. Let’s discuss the quick facts: She is a mom of three, she played college basketball at the D2 level, she absolutely adores coffee, and enjoys adventurous and daring activities. She was a teacher for 10 YEARS in this very school district. She first started in elementary and received her undergraduate in K- 12 health and P.E.. She worked at our neighboring high school, Apple Valley High.
Her work ethic
She always knew in the end that she wanted to become an administrator but she never knew how soon. She graduated just last year and got her ESD in K-12 administration. This really shows that she is very dedicated to her work and ideas and if she wants something she will get it done. From the interview that our team gave her, she never really thought that she would perceive her dream so soon but she gave it her all and that to us is what really matters.
What’s the story?
Maribel Arellano is the first graduate of her family and she states that her reason for getting through so many obstacles is her dedication and faith. She states that she would pray to God to help get through this challenge so she can pursue her dream. She also appreciated education throughout her entire life. She says that education has always opened doors for her no matter the challenge and really defined her about who she is today as a human being, and has opened a place about where she belongs in this world.
