On October of 2017, girls in America were allowed the chance to be apart of the Boy Scouts community. Many people debate about this decision to this day, however many are against this, including the Girl Scouts of America. “‘The need for female leadership has never been clearer or more urgent than it is today—and only Girl Scouts has the expertise to give girls and young women the tools they need for success,’ the Girl Scouts said in a statement.” This begs the question to some: Why allow girls into Boy Scouts when there is already a Girl Scouts? It is because of transgenderism. Before 2013 and 2015, transgender people were not allowed into Boy/Girl Scouts, due to their confusion of their gender. This creates a problem of where to put those people if they want to be in a Scout community. But, that is for you to decide your opinion this topic.
