Fantasy Football Week 4 Pickups

Nathan Jerzak

Week 4 of fantasy football was filled with record breaking plays and stand out performances from Justin Tucker’s 66 yard record breaking field goal to Josh Allen’s 367 total yards and 5 touchdowns. Now looking to week 4 here are the best pick ups you should consider for your team.

QB Sam Darnold Carolina (22% Rostered Yahoo Sports) @ Cowboys

Darnold has accumulated 888 passing yards and 6 touchdowns, half of them being rushing. Darnold has slowly gotten more comfortable with the Panthers offense, he is coming off consecutive blow out wins one of which was a tough Saints Defense that shut out the Aaron Rodgers lead Packers from a touchdown. So Darnold should be a solid pick up and possible start against a Cowboys defense that has struggled against the pass game.

WR Terrace Marshall Jr. Carolina (14% Rostered) @ Cowboys

Marshall may not have the greatest stats through 3 weeks, but he has a high upside against an inexperienced Cowboys secondary that allowed 4 receiving touchdowns in week one and has allowed over 300 passing yards in each week. I would expect Marshall to get his first career touchdown and have a season high in yards. With CMC out the Panthers should be throwing more leading to a potentially big day for Terrace.

RB Chuba Hubbard Car (27% Rostered) @ Cowboys

Yesterday, September 29 Chuba Hubbard was named the starting Running Back for the Panthers Sunday. Last week Chuba was able to net 52 yards after CMC went down with a hamstring injury sharing snaps pretty evenly with Royce Freeman, I would expect the same to happen this week giving a slight edge to Chuba in overall snaps. Against a struggling Cowboys Defense without Demarcus Lawrence Hubbard should be a solid RB2 if you have no other options and a great Flex play this week.

TE Dawson Knox Buf (11% Rostered) vs Texans

Last week Buffalo tore up a solid Washington defense with 358 passing yards and 4 pass touchdowns 1 of which to Dawson Knox his second of the year. Dawson has 107 yards on 10 receptions this year, that is 10.7 ypc (yard per catch) which is a great number for a TE in fantasy football. Dawson will be going against a Houston Defense that has given up 76 points in the first 3 weeks, so Dawson is a solid pickup and start at TE this week.
