Rosemount High School is one of 20,000 schools that offer AP Computer Science classes to their students. Recently the school’s computer science program was awarded the AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award for achieving a 50% female representation in the classes. Dr. Reinartz and Mr. Fendrich have worked to increase diversity in the program by organizing events, speeches and working with alumni of the program to encourage people to take these unique classes. Winning this award is an incredible achievement and places Rosemount High School in a great place to increase representation in the program.
